Busy fall...

Fall has certainly turned out to be rather hectic! Crystal and I are on the road in the Brantford/ Six Nations Reserve area right now, with a little down time to write...

The biggest news of the fall so far is that the project was approved for funding through the new Ontario Species at Risk Stewardship fund, so we've expanded our fall plans through until the end of February. We hope to cover quite a few additional schools, and some other venues, with this funding!

Paperwork delays have hampered the start of things so far, though, as well as the loss of a newly hired staff member to a higher paying job! Our newest staff member, Mallory, will start next week and that should help to get things moving more quickly, and Robin, who started a couple of weeks ago, is doing very well so far.
