First Look at 2007
Posted by Jeff Hathaway on March 30, 2007 at 10:04 AM
We're starting to gear up for the 2007 season! There are still lots of major variables in play, but it is promising to be very busy! Though we are still searching for additional funding, our eastern Canada tour will be going ahead. We are looking forward to presenting programs out there this summer. It also looks like we'll be doing a lot of programs in southern Ontario under this project in the spring and fall. We are going to be on the road a lot!
Web site updates should be happening within the next six weeks, so watch for changes. We have started to interview potential staff, and hope to have a great team on board again for this year. Interested candidates are welcome to send resumes to info@scisnake.com, and it wouldn't hurt to review some blog entries from 2006 to get an idea of what the job is really like! It is a lot of fun touring around teaching people about reptiles, but it is very tiring work and can also be very challenging at times!
Here are a few 2006 blog entries I think are especially worthwhile, for potential staff or anyone else who's interested in our project, life on the road, and reptiles in general!
- So You Want to Be a Herpetologist
- Introducing Bertha
- Some Stormy Teamwork
- Narcisse: The World's Highest Concentration of Snakes
