Riding Mountain National Park

We delayed a few days in Manitoba to fit in a program for the Neepawa library. A couple of days off wouldn't hurt us or the animals, either. Neepawa isn't too far from Riding Mountain National Park, so we decided to check out this very cool spot!

We offered to do a program for the park while we were in the area, but it was pretty short notice and they were unable to fit it in. We did bring the snakes down to the visitor's centre to meet some of the staff and visitors for a little while.

After dinner, we went to the Agassiz viewing tower, Which was great. We watched a beautiful sunrise from the tower before heading back to our campsite. Even better, just before we got the tower, we stopped to take pictures of a big bull moose foraging right beside the highway.

The next morning, we packed up the trailer, went to the beach for a while, hiked a short trail, and then set off for an overnight stop at Spruce Woods again. After that, Saskatchewan!
